FastOnce Terms of Use

Plain-language terms for using the app. They sit alongside Apple's standard App Store licence, and alongside the Privacy Policy.

About these terms

By downloading or using FastOnce (the app), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (the Apple EULA), which also applies to every app on the App Store. If a term here ever conflicts with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA governs to the extent Apple requires. The app is made by UNREEL (Unreel Creative For Design Services), a business licensed in the Emirate of Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (trade licence no. 1619197). If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, resell, or redistribute the app or any part of it, except to the limited extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction.

The app is a tool, not professional advice

You understand and agree that FastOnce is a fasting timer for general wellness, and not a medical device, a treatment, or a source of medical advice, and that fasting does not suit everyone. You use it at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for the decisions you make. Always consult a suitably qualified professional before acting on anything the app shows, especially in matters of health, money, or law, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something in the app.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully. Do not use it to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to store or share content you have no right to store or share. Do not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or misuse the app or to work around its security.

Your content is yours, and your responsibility

Anything you enter stays on your device, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for your own content and for keeping your own backups. We cannot recover data from your device, because we never have it.

Purchases and subscriptions

Any purchases or subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple Account, and Apple's terms and refund policy apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time in iOS Settings. We never see or receive your payment details.

Ownership

The app, its name, design, code, and content are owned by UNREEL or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms give you the licence above and nothing more.

No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose, or that any result or estimate it shows is accurate.

Limit of our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UNREEL is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss of data, profit, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim or USD 25. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Your indemnity to us

You agree to indemnify and hold UNREEL harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal costs, arising out of your misuse of the app, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or of anyone's rights, including in respect of information about other people that you choose to store in the app.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. The current version is always the one posted here, with the date above. If you keep using the app after we post a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of the Emirate of Dubai have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by anything in these terms.
